Santa Fe property values continue to rise, topping $6.2 billion dollars in the most recent report from the Santa Fe County assessor’s office. Today’s estimated figure compares to $5.4 billion in 2006 and $3 billion in 1997. The nearly 15% increase over last year’s figure is largely due to the construction of new homes, new subdivision lots, and the active appreciation in the real estate market.
